dusk_academy for my boy Enki. I do not own either of them.
[ Series ] – Twelve Kingdoms[ Character’s Name ] – Rokuta (On Hourai) Or Enki (Normally)
[ Character’s Element ] – Light
[ Teacher or Student? ] – Student (First year, Bahamut House)
[ Character Profile ] – (Over 500, but looks 12) Born in Hourai (Japan) and left to die on a mountain side during a war, Enki is a Kirin Taika who has a low opinion for Kings and War. He cannot stand blood - the very small of it enough to make him sick. He does not fight as such, but is willing to stand up for what he believes in. He's at Dusk to prove himself to Shoryuu - the King of En.
[ Appearance ] – Enki looks like a 12 year old kid, but is in fact over 500 years old. He is often seen in comfortable blue robes and a cap to hide his hair and pointed ears from the general public.
His hair is either Blonde or Black depending on where he is and the company he's keeping, but more often than not his hair is blonde - as is the colour of his mane in his Kirin form.
As a Kirin, he looks like a cross between a white deer and a horse with a single horn in the middle of his forehead, and is considered one of the most beautiful and graceful creatures in all the worlds, not just in Tentei's.
[ Personality ] – Enki can be head strong, but is friendly and diplomatic at the same time. He's got a sense of humour and trouble seems to follow him, but he is loyal to a fault - especially to his King and his brother Kirin.
In regards to his world, and people in general, he considers himself an expert in knowing and reading them, however, being a Kirin, he is naive to the point of ignorance when it comes to love and the acts of it.
He has a penchant for vulgar language and high risks, but never does anything he knows he can't follow through on. He has a strong opinion towards war and the stupidity of the human race, but deep down he has a great admiration for them.
[ History ] – Enki was originally from the 12 Kingdoms and born from the Shashinboku - a holy tree on Mount Hou that bears the Ranka (Or fruit of life) for the Kirin. However, Enki's fruit was sent to Japan (Known in the Kingdoms as Wa in the world of Hourai) in a shoku storm and was born to human parents during the height of a civil war in Japan.
By the age of Four he'd spent a lot of time sick as the people around him died. His village was burned and in an effort to save themselves, his parents left him on a hillside to die.
He was found near death by Sourin - A Kirin from a neighbouring Kingdom - And retrieved by his Nyokai before being taken to Mount Hou where he quickly learned what it was like to be a Kirin.
He returned to Japan two years later where he met the man who would be King of En - Shoryuu - and brought him back to the kingdoms.
With 500 years of meetings and misadventures, Enki was introduced to Taiki - another Taika who went missing in Japan. Enki spent a lot of time going back and forth between Hourai and the kingdoms searching for Taiki; and on one journey he found himself face to face with Edward Elric, who shared not only chocolate and icecream with him, but the location of Dusk Academy.
After a rather nasty argument with Shoryuu, and another kidnapping attempt, Enki decided to make good on his invitation from Ed to come to Dusk - wanting to learn and be stronger in order to better help his kingdom. He's enrolled under his Japanese name (Rokuta) However, since his brothers and Ed are the only people who know exactly what he is, he prefers Enki.
[ Pets ] – Enki has 6 Shirei, Youma or monsters that he has tamed on his journeys. Mostly that stay hidden, however, since Enki will not fight, it is they who do battle for him.
